Mi nombre es Nadya Talavera Santana y tengo 24 años. Nací en Gran Canaria y aquí formé luego mis estudios superiores en la Escuela de arte y diseño gráfico de las palmas, finalizando los mismos en el año 2012 tras cursar un ciclo superior en artes aplicadas a la escultura que nunca llegaría a acabar.

Aún así proseguí de forma autodidacta mis estudios yendo por las ramas que más me interesaban. Pasé el siguiente año trabajando con aceros inoxidables en Telde y continué formándome como artista tanto pictórica,como escultorica.

Sin embargo, y siendo la razón por la cual abandoné el ciclo formativo de Escultura, tiendo más hacia la senda pictórica. Persiguiendo la emoción a través del color, las texturas y la forma, mayormente figurativa.
Por tanto, no son las formas ni dimensiones lo que captan mi interés, sino aquellos colores y texturas que me traen recuerdos o experiencias. Aquellos que me hacen echar la vista atrás en un afán de caminar hacia adelante.

My name is Nadya Santana Talavera and I am 24 years old. I was born here in Gran Canaria and then I formed my studies at the School of Art and graphic design, ending them in 2012 after completing a cycle in applied arts superior to sculpture would never come to an end.

Still I continued my studies through self I digress that interested me. I spent the next year working with stainless steels In Telde and continued training as a pictorial artist both as sculptural.

However, being the reason why I left the training cycle Sculpture I tend more towards the pictorial path. Chasing emotion through color, texture and shape, mostly figurative.
Therefore, it is not the shape or size which capture my interest, but those colors and textures that bring back memories or experiences. Those who make me look back in an effort to walk forward.
